Illegal taxis Now Require an ABN (click here)

ATO regulates that illegal taxi drivers and ride-share drivers must have an ABN, register for GST and lodge a BAS in the same way as legal taxi drivers must. This is a further step towards ridding the industry of illegal drivers.
