We have developed 20 suggested key strategies to help level the playing field for Queensland’s transport industry while maintaining the high standard the public deserves.

Items like thorough police checks, correct insurance, industry standard cameras, GPS units, and fatigue management programs are all integral to keeping our industry & community as safe as possible.

By signing this petition, you will be sending a strong message to our government that you support Queensland small business and believe there should be an across the board unification of rules and regulations to solidify the transport industry and provide the public with the best possible service in the safest manner.

Please find attached a letter to all members of the taxi industry, in the lead up to the vote on the KAP’s Transport Legislation (Taxi Services) Amendment Bill next week. Mr Katter and Mr Knuth are determined to achieve a result for this legitimate and hardworking industry.
We value the support we have received over the past couple of months and encourage all to continue to advocate for this bill.

We would be thankful if you would pass this on to others involved in the industry to generate a final push in support of this legislation.
